Staging

Nowhere is staging a home more important than in the luxury home market. Presentation is everything. This is not a niche in the market that wants to “imagine” how the house will look. Hiring a professional stager will get you far more in return than the fee charged. One thing stagers do is make things appealing by making sure the themes in the house are consistent. This can mean taking furniture and/or belongings out of the house, or sometimes swapping pieces out for something that reflects a better match.

One place most people forget is staging the outdoors. Professional landscape engineers will prune, plant, and arrange exterior setting to make sure that the entrance your potential buyers’ experience will be memorable.

One last thing, remember that the way your house is shown can make all the difference. The listing agent should be completely familiar with everything in the home, presenting it in a competent and entertaining way.
